A little girl is sitting in a field of flowers and prickly grass. Her face is craddled in her hands as she softly cries.
Another little girl walks over to sit beside her.
GIRL 1: I wish I can stop crying.
GIRL 2: Don't wish for that.
GIRL 1: Why would you say that? Can't you make me feel any better?
GIRL 2: Well... you need to drink your rain.
GIRL 1: Huh?
The girl looks up at the sky and gets blinded by the bright sun.
GIRL 1: There's no rain. What are you saying?
Between the two of them is a rosebud.
Slowly, GIRL 2 opens it up.
GIRL 2: You see how tiny this bud is?
GIRL 1: (sniffles) Yes.
GIRL 2: We both know this bud is gonna grow up to become a big rose.
GIRL 1: Yeah.
GIRL 2: And we know that right now, this bud is nothing but a weak plant.
GIRL 1: ...Mhm.
GIRL 2: For this bud to become resilient to storms, it needs to drink the rain. ...For you to become resilient to the sorrows of your life, you need to drink your rain.
Both girls stroke the bud's velvet petals.
GIRL 1: I see...
GIRL 2: Don't fear of drowning yourself now, because later on your tears and sorrows will seem smaller and smaller...
GIRL 1: ...As I grow taller and taller.
GIRL 2: Haha, yeah.
GIRL 2 pats GIRL 1's back as GIRL 1 slowly lays down on the field and cries much louder than before.
Then they both look up at the sky to see the sun's face and gentle rain falling down.
Both of them breathe in deeply and start to smell ten thousand flower aromas.
GIRL 2: (chuckles) Keep drinking your rain.
GIRL 1: (laughs) You too.
